For All Participants
- Please be on time! Arrive before 6:30 PM.
- Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings and t-shirts.
- Please make sure that your hair is in a pony tail/bun/off your face
- Be respectful of the teacher/instructors and other participants. This is a class and we are here to learn.
For Parents
- Please label your child’s belongings (shoes, bags, sweaters, coats, boots), etc.
- Please make sure that all younger students have gone to the bathroom prior to class.
- Please familiarize yourself with studio policies, dress codes, special events, important dates and closings, fundraising, showcases, and registration information.
- Please drop off and pick up your child(ren) promptly at the end of their class(es).
Food and Drink
Absolutely no food or drink (except water in a closed bottle) will be allowed inside any of the dance rooms. This rule pertains to students and parents. No gum chewing. Water break time will be assigned.
Performance Opportunity
- All participants are invited to perform at Modero and/or Gita Santi’s community showcase. Usually there are 2 showcases per year.
- Modero’s lead artists (Teacher Sinta and Teacher Detty) and apprentice artist (Teacher Irza) have the final decision on who will be performing a specific dance.
- Out of town performance (more than 1 hour from Philadelphia) are mostly assiged to dancers who are 18 years old or older unless otherwise announced.
- Performers must haves: corset, facial essentials (moisturizers, foundation, red lipstick), long hair (for some dances) and a donut bun.
